Please join us Sunday, June 23 for a tour of one of Pasadena’s most noteworthy, historic attractions, the Gamble House. Built in 1908 for David and Mary Gamble of Proctor & Gamble fame, it is “the most complete and original example of the work of architects Charles and Henry Greene.” The Gamble House Conservancy operates and preserves this local, State and National Historic landmark in the same manner that we celebrate and preserve our Classic Cars.
As the most recognized example of Arts and Crafts design, the Gamble House is appreciated both as a cohesive design and for its attention to detail. Its interior is the perfect complement to the exterior design, where wood, glass and fabrics work together to create a tranquil living space. “Architecture as fine art” is the Conservancy’s powerful and accurate description of this Pasadena masterpiece.
This rare opportunity includes the staging of our Classics along the circular driveway in front of the house, a most impressive photo opportunity. Our one-hour tour takes us through many rooms of the 8,100-square-foot home with time afterwards to visit the bookstore and gift shop located in the garage of the property. For more information, please visit: www.gamblehouse.org
