Please join us as we tour the Browning Family Collection of cars on Saturday, October 12. This is a rarely seen collection made up of more than 130 automobiles in two adjacent warehouses. Among these are many rare Oldsmobiles and examples of every Corvette from 1957 to 1977. Complementing these automotive collectibles are a vast assortment of vintage radios, Art Deco furniture and motion picture memorabilia, much of which came from the former Art Astor collection.
The history of the Browning Automotive Group can be traced to Richard Browning who in 1934 found employment at C. Stanlee Martin Oldsmobile in Long Beach. After working in every department over the next 26 years, Richard bought the dealership outright in 1960 and renamed it Dick Browning Oldsmobile. The family now operates nine locations in Southern California from Long Beach to Thousand Oaks to Victorville, representing Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, Acura, Honda, Kia, Nissan, Mazda, Toyota and Volkswagen.
TIME & PLACE
Plan to arrive Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. for tire kicking, coffee and doughnuts. Our tour of the collection begins promptly at 10 a.m. Advanced registration is required and the cost is just $10 per person. Registrations must be received by Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
